A Wednesday Night at Kelly's in Peekskill
Stephen Gara on Uilleann Pipes, John Rooney on Guitar, Scott Mettey on Fiddle and Tom O'Gorman on Bodhran. These lads and their friends gather every Wednesday night at Kelly's Irish Pub in Peekskill to bang out Jigs and Reels of the highest order!
SEISIUN -Air & Reels
First comes an air written by whistle player/fiddler Scott Mettey to celebrate the 50th birthday of friend and Seisiun bandmate P/M Joe Brady. Then three sprightly reels to carry the set away. The first is The Star of Munster, followed by Throw It Across The Road, then All-Ireland box champion Mike O'Hanlon slides in to jam on The Silver Spear!
A Maid Went to Comber
Great song from The Lonely Stranded Band that tells the all too familiar tale of an Irishman talking a young woman into brushing off her work so he can chat her up! When will they ever learn?! Comber is in Co. Down in the North of Ireland.
Scott Mettey - Morning Jig
Multi-Instrumentalist Scott Mettey offers a little snippet to show how one person can multi-track with various Irish instruments.
